Whitetail Deer Hunting in Alberta

The zone we hunt is a beautiful mix of agricultural land and forest in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Prior to your hunt, the area will have been scouted and tree stands and ground blinds put into place. These stands and blinds are primarily located in a forest of deciduous and coniferous trees with many cut-blocks and pipelines.

You can expect to see deer in the 140-180+ point range. We average a buck per year over 190 points. Our goal is to try and harvest bucks 150+ in size. Our Bow and Rifle hunts are six-day events running Monday - Saturday, with arrival and departure on Sunday.

Bow (archery hunting) and Rifle Hunting available.

Winter Wolf Hunting in Alberta

We offer winter wolf hunts in northwestern Alberta. Our six day hunts run from January to March each year. We will pick you up on Sunday afternoon at the Grande Prairie airport, and drive out thirty miles to the lodge, where you can settle in and enjoy a home cooked meal.

Our use of heated blinds in the bait areas ensures the hunters are always in the game, regardless of the weather or the snow conditions.

We have been guiding wolf hunters since 1996. During that time, we have been consistently successful in providing our hunters with opportunities for them to get a wolf. Our success in getting hunters shots at wolves has been about 90%, with some hunters having multiple opportunities to take a wolf.

There is no limit on the number of wolves or coyotes a hunter may take. Hunts are conducted from our home in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, with hunters staying in our lodge enjoying country style home-cooked meals.

Baited Black Bear Hunting in Alberta

Our Spring Bear hunts are a great time to get away, enjoy a relaxing hunt and see lots of game. The chance of getting a nice bear is very good. In recent seasons, we killed several bears over seven feet, and twenty bears over six feet and even one bear over eight feet. Wolves can be taken as well. We offer Northern Pike and Walleye fishing in season.

The hunting is done over bait in the late afternoons and evenings, leaving the morning to relax, enjoy the outdoors and some great camp cooking.

Our bear camp offers many conveniences to make your outdoor experience more comfortable. Enjoy our wood heated sleeping tents and cook tent as well as hot showers.

We book our bear camp for the month of May and the first week of June, with the hunts starting on Sunday and ending on Saturday.
