success rate on moose has been an average of 80% though
occasionally we achieve 100% success in a season. We believe that

striving to maintain this. Lehman Creek Outfitters retains the
largest quota of caribou for our region and our success rate has
been virtually 100% on this species since we bought the first part
of the territory in 1985. |

The center of this 1800sq mile area is a 100mile scenic floatplane flight north of our home base of Smithers BC. Offering: Canada Moose, Wolf, Mountain Goat and Black Bear hunts. With fifteen years in the guiding industry, your guide outfitter, Derrick Mohr, knows how to provide a truly unique BC hunting experience. With the help of two other guides, we take a total of only 12 - 14 clients a fall season. By keeping our operation small we can offer you the personalized trip that you desire. Our methods of hunting are spot and stalk, from tree stands, calling and hunting from a boat on our lakes. Over the course of the season we rotate the use of all our 7 base camps to ensure that wildlife is not over-harvested. All our fall fly-ins are 10-day hunts. We do this to ensure a successful hunt in case of days lost to bad weather. Accommodations: Come hunt from one of our 7 different
base camps. All our camps are located on lakes, some in the open alpine
and others in scenic forest settings. Our camps consist of comfortable
log and wood structures. Game can often be spotted from the front window
of your cabin.

Contact: Chandler Morton Phone: 720-519-9662 Location: 1,800 square miles in Northern British Columbia, North of Prince George, containing the Omineca River. Offering: Moose, Grizzly Bear, Mountain Goat, Black Bear, Mountain Caribou, Wolf, and fishing. We voluntarily manage this area for trophy moose - only moose 50" or greater can be taken and this territory produces good numbers of moose to the high 50" range, the largest taken so far being 63". This territory also contains good numbers of grizzly bears. Mountain goat, black bear, mountain caribou and wolf hunting is also productive and the diversity here makes for a great combo hunt. The fishing here is also incredible on the numerous lakes and streams. We focus on providing a quality experience for a limited number of hunters. Bowhunters welcome. Accommodations: You will hunt from one of our Rustic Cabin Camps or a Tent Camp. We make sure our hunters are well fed and have comfortable accommodations to insure an enjoyable hunt. |
