We have 8000 private hunting acres located in Hampton County, South Carolina, near Savannah, Augusta, Columbia and Charleston, South Carolina. Whitetail deer populations and harvests have traditionally been number one or two statewide throughout the history of deer hunting, Buck Run Hunting Lodge, LLC offers the serious whitetail hunter an experience he will never forget.
We offer early season hunts for velvet antlered bucks, and during the regular season you can harvest a buck and doe each morning and evening of every day you hunt! That's no misprint, that's four deer per day! Our season runs from August 15th thru January 1st annually, offering the longest and most liberal deer season in the entire nation.
Your host and property owner Pete Simmons has over 40 years experience chasing those elusive Whitetail Deer in the Low Country of South Carolina. His aim is to make certain that each guest has the very best hunting experience possible. Every effort is made by our staff to improve success!
Part of the daily routine on our 7500 acres of property is managing the food plots, scouting for deer and turkey, monitoring the herd, maintaining stands and shooting houses and keeping our lodge in top condition for our guests.
Each hunt is personally guided, and we limit the number of hunters on the property to just 13 hunters. Buck Run is the perfect size for small groups or corporate hunts!
Buck Run has a huge population of Turkey and they love to put on a show in the spring! Our turkey hunts are semi-guided, with the hunter being the caller. We have some big toms here, weighing in from 18-24 pounds with foot long beards and 1" spurs!

We offer UNLIMITED hog harvest on every hunt. We've never released any hogs on the property, but they are here, roaming free, and we want to keep them in check!

Our Upland Bird Hunts are very reasonably priced and include your professional hunting guide with his trained dog. Combine a bird hunt with another hunt for a truly exciting hunting get-a-way! 1/2 and full day hunts available.
