With such a vast area and with no other outfitters in this area it will give us the edge in providing trophy class bear hunting for many years to come. There are five major rivers that run through our area; Athabasca, Clearwater, Horse, Hanging Stone and Christina Rivers - these are a big reason for producing P&Y and B&C bears. These four weeks offer the best Black Bear hunting during the Spring Black Bear season in Alberta. We only run six hunters a week and use 40+ baits to keep the bear action going. Because of the bear's keen sense of smell and hearing, the bowhunter has a challenge ahead of him. But we have been very successful with our Archery Bear hunts!

Whitetail Deer Bow Hunts in Alberta

Our camp is located 2 1/2 hours NE of Edmonton in Alberta's Lakeland region which borders the Boreal Forest. Excellent habitat makes this a prime area for letting bucks reach their full potential! Burnt Lake Outfitters has a prime Archery area that is exclusive to us. We have excellent stands, comfortable lodging, delicious meals and some incredible Alberta Whitetails to hunt! There are very few bow tags issued in Alberta's top whitetail areas, so the hunting pressure is non-existent. This also works to our advantage.
