over 3000 square miles and it's ALL exclusive to Burnt Lake Outfitters
and our clients. With such a vast area and with no other
outfitters in this area it will give us the edge in providing trophy
class bear hunting for many years to come. There are five major
rivers that run through our area; Athabasca, Clearwater, Horse,
Hanging Stone and Christina Rivers - these are a big reason for
producing P&Y and B&C bears. From jet blacks to blondes, we have
it all when it comes to color phase bears. Our hunts are not
just a bear hunt, but a Trophy Bear Hunt!

We offer 6 day hunts during the month of May. These four weeks offer
the best Black Bear hunting during the Spring Black Bear season in
Alberta. We only run six hunters a week and use 40+ baits to keep the

a true taste of hunting Alberta’s north.

region which borders the Boreal Forest. Excellent habitat
makes this a prime area for letting bucks reach their full
potential!
With very limited bow tags in Alberta’s top trophy whitetail areas,
bowhunters can take advantage of zero hunting pressure and hunt the
same areas as rifle hunters. With access to an area that is all
exclusive to Burnt Lake Outfitters, bowhunters can enjoy many prime
stand sites, great lodging and a true taste of hunting Alberta’s
