counties where we operate. Longest established trophy areas (13 years) for
the serious trophy hunter, and also unrestricted areas where new hunters

Trophy whitetail, turkey, and hog, along with stocked
private pond for bass, bream, and catfish, catch and release. Non-hunters,

plots are planted often enough, along with tons of shelled corn, to

Location: Beautiful Central South Carolina, just south
of Columbia in Swansea. The property that makes up the Buck and
Boar has been managed exclusively for wildlife over the last 20 years.
Offering: Whitetail Deer and Wild Boar (wild hog)
hunting. Thanks to our intensive trophy management program, bucks
in excess of 160" are becoming more common. Be our guest and hunt the
"Old Growth" hard woods that cover the acorn ridges the bucks call home.
Hunting is done from elevated shooting houses and ground blinds. This
hunt is not physically demanding and can be tailored to suit most any
hunter. Deer hunts are extremely limited. No more than a dozen were sold
for this year, so far nine guest have hunted with 100% success. All nine
scored over 125", averaging 140", with the largest at 163".
Our Hog Hunting is offered year round and it's some of the best
offered anywhere! Our hog herd is managed to produce high-quality
European trophy boar. The genetic make-up of our herd is a product of
all four European strains. Protected breeding stock imported from
Europe is the foundation of our breeding program that is setting
industry standards. We currently hold one world record in the W.W.T.
record book.
Accommodations: Our comfortable lodge can accommodate up
to 10 guests. We also have private cabins. The lodge and
cabin are supported by a B.B.Q. cook house, bow and rifle range and a
cleaning/processing facility all within walking distance of each other.
