Where We Hunt: Our beautiful secluded cabin is located one hour from Steamboat Springs, Craig, Meeker and Yampa. Hunters fly into the Steamboat Springs, CO Airport (Yampa Valley Regional Airport). We provide accommodations in or near hunting in Game Management Units: 3, 4, 11, 12, 13, 23, 24, 211, 231, 301 and 441.
Colorado Hunts Offered: Self-guided hunting - Wildlife in the area include elk, mule deer, black bear, mountain lion, antelope, and an occasional moose. The elk herd in our GMU is estimated at 38,000+ animals. Wild Skies Hunting Lodge is perfect for the hunter that wants a comfortable retreat suitable for entertaining guests or non-hunting family members. First-class trout fishing, back-country horseback riding, hiking, snowmobiling, and much more are readily available to our guests in the White River and Routt National Forests.
Hunting Lodge: The 2000 sf lodge can comfortably sleep 12 guests. Full kitchen, large dining room, 2 bedrooms and upstairs bunk room. We have onsite corrals and plenty of parking for vehicles/trailers. Choose to have your meals included, or cook for yourself.

Where We Hunt: Southwestern Colorado - Our hunting area consists of about 5000+ acres of private land on the Uncompaghre Plateau, with Montrose, Ouray, Gunnison and Grand Junction all nearby.
Colorado Hunts Offered: Colorado Elk hunting as well as trophy Mule Deer, Bear, and Turkey on over 5,000+ acres of land. Also fishing for Rainbow, Brown, Cutthroat, Brookie, Bass, Lake Trout, and Pike. Colorado Big Game Adventures leases 2,400 acres of the most beautiful mountain country in Colorado for Photo Shoots of Wildlife, including Bear, Deer, Elk, Turkey and maybe a Mountain Lion. There are limitless opportunities for photo's of wildflowers, Aspen trees, Old Ranch fences, things that only an experienced photographer can spot. The camp is located 20 miles southwest of Montrose Colorado on highway 90. Montrose is approximately 250 miles from Denver and is located in the southwestern part of the state. Camp is easily accessible by pickup truck. Hunters should plan to arrive in camp around noon on the Friday before the hunting season specified. Earlier accommodations are available for a modest amount. There are commercial flights into Montrose and Grand Junction and transportation is available to Camp.

Where We Hunt: Colorado Outdoor Sports leases 20 plus private properties throughout Colorado and Wyoming. All of our properties are all very unique and offer different hunting and fishing opportunities.
Colorado Hunts Offered: We offer Elk, Deer, Antelope, Bear, Predator, Turkey, Goose, and Duck hunts. We also offer fishing for rainbow, brown, golden, bass, crappie. Within excess of 65,000 acres there are plenty of opportunities for an amazing non-guided hunts. Our website provides interactive maps of all of our properties and an online reservation system that allows you, the hunter to reserve the property for the day.

Where We Hunt: Northwest Colorado, White River and Routt National Forest, GMU 12 - Home to Colorado's largest migratory Elk herd! Our hunting territory is near Meeker and Craig, Colorado in the White River National Forest and Routt National Forest. Hunters fly into the Yampa Valley Regional Airport or Grand Junction Airport.

Hunting Lodge: Tent camps as well as comfortable cabins. Fully guided camps include all meals, great camp cooks and one guide for each two hunters. Drop camps are in excellent areas and very well stocked. All access is by horse or mule. No motorized vehicles are allowed in the area we hunt.

Where We Hunt: We hunt on the Uncompahgre Plateau, National Forest, and BLM in unit 61 and unit 62. We hunt on approximately 50,000 acres in each unit. The terrain varies, dark timber, aspen groves, scrub oaks, cedars, pinions, and meadows. The elevation at the lodges is 9600 feet and we hunt down from there.
Colorado Hunts Offered: Specializing in Trophy Elk and Mule Deer Hunting. Our area has some of the best archery and Muzzle loading habitat in the state. Dark timber, oaks, water holes, and secluded areas with little pressure, attract big bulls. The Bulls can be very vocal at this time. We have spike camps set up in some of the best areas, so we don’t have a long walk in, in the morning or a long walk out at night.
Hunting Lodge: The Lodge is warmed by a wood stove and a large raised hearth fireplace. We have a newly updated kitchen and updated bathrooms with private hot showers. We have a large bunk room and private rooms are available. The Lodge supplies all linens and meals are included. Our meals are of big country portions, homemade desserts and the best sack lunch in Colorado.

Where We Hunt: Colorado’s White River National Forest and the Flat Tops Wilderness. The White River National Forest is two million acres in central Colorado west of the Continental Divide. It is one of the largest and oldest National Forests in the Rocky Mountains. Our U.S. Forest Service permits consist of over 250 square miles of prime National Forest and Wilderness Land, which is one of the largest outfitter permitted areas in Colorado.

Where We Hunt: Southern Colorado in the Rio Grande National Forest, South San Juan Wilderness, and the Sangre DeCristo Wilderness. Our U.S. Forest Service permitted areas are just east of the Continental Divide and west of I-25 in GMU’s 80, 81, 82.
Colorado Hunts Offered: Elk, Mule Deer and summer pack trips. Archery, Muzzleloader and Rifle seasons are available. Both archery and Rifle hunts are available Over The Counter ( No Draw). We provide Professionally Guided Full Service Camps or do-it-yourself Drop Camps, all well beyond vehicle access. Fishtail Ranch will keep camps small and remote so that we may deliver the same personalized service and attention to detail in this remote environment that our hunters have come to enjoy for years on both our Colorado and New Mexico Elk Hunts.
Hunting Lodge: We will pack you and your gear into our fully equipped remote tent camps by horseback. Guided hunters will enjoy 5 full days of hunting with an experienced guide (2 on 1), a camp-cook to prepare hot home cooked meals and riding stock will remain available for your use throughout the hunt. Drop camps are located in quality areas and our wranglers will check your camp several times during your hunt packing out your harvest and transporting it to a local processor so you may remain with your hunting party.

Where We Hunt: Northwest Colorado - Craig & Hamilton.
Colorado Hunts Offered: Trophy Elk, Mule Deer and Antelope hunting. Hunt on private land with very low pressure. We take only a limited number of hunters per season. We hunt from the 1st and 2nd largest Elk herd in Colorado and have a very high success rate. The properties have easy access by foot or 4 X 4 and are close to town for shopping for supplies and taking game to the processor.
Hunting Lodge: We offer hunts for trespass fee only. With or without lodging and meals. We can customize to meet your needs.

Where We Hunt: Northwest Colorado on the border of the White River. Roatt, San Isbal & Grand Mesa National Forest. We now have 15 Private Ranches we lease to a limited number of hunters per season. These ranches are located in hunting units 15, 42, 52, 53, 63, 65, and 741.
Colorado Hunts Offered: Colorado Elk hunting and Mule Deer hunting. Private land elk hunts. Ranches for lease for elk hunting to groups for trespass fees. This is a non-guided, do-it-yourself type hunt. We provide maps for each property and the name of a local contact person.
Hunting Lodge: Our leases offer a wide selection of accommodations. We have leases with cabins, camping availability or if you wish a motel stay in the nearest town. The use of ATV's is permitted and encouraged on all our leases.
