Offering:  Alabama Trophy Whitetail Deer, Turkey and Rabbit hunting in February.  We are hunting 2,500 acres of prime Black Warrior River Bottom Hardwoods and farm land.  We have been under a trophy or quality deer management program since 1977, and guiding deer hunters for 23 years, since 1982.  We offer hunters a chance to hunt and take a 115 B&C to 150 B&C + Gross buck.  Our guideline for a trophy buck is it has to have an minimum outside spread of 16-17 inches or a basal circumference of better than 4 inches.  Over the years, my hunters have been 50% + on the shots taken on these kind of bucks!  Here at Black Warrior, we offer a hunter a chance to hunt quality bucks for 1/2 to 2/3 less the cost to hunt in Texas, Canada or the Midwest.

Accommodations:  We have a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath cabin with kitchen and living area with a satellite dish TV.  For married couples we have a private suite with bar, microwave and refrigerator.  Both have central heat and air.  We offer meals on most hunts with continental breakfast on your own and hot made from scratch home-cooked meals for lunch and supper.

Location:  3200 acres of Alabama Black Belt Trophy Buck hunting in south Bullock and Barbour Counties, and will be offering not only early bow hunts, but gun hunts for the entire season. The land has been trophy managed for 25 years. Bullock is on 17" outside spread or 110" Gross Score, and Barbour is on 120" Gross Score. Trail cams have assured there are plenty of these deer available to provide some great hunts.

Offering:  Trophy Deer, Turkey & BONUS Hog hunts. The hunts will be 3 days only, Thursday evenings through Sunday mornings, and Monday evenings through Thursday mornings. Our scouting trips and trail cams have assured us with the deer sign, that there are plenty of mature bucks there for our hunters to be successful. We know every hunter will not get a big buck, but no where does that happen with fair chase hunting.  Discount:  $1,195 per person (lodging and meals included.)  Hunt includes two bucks, as long as the second buck is larger than the first. 

There are also a lot of turkeys on the properties, and we will be offering 6 turkey hunts for the 2010 spring season. There have been quite a few wild hogs moved in on the property and we encourage you to take them when you can, and at no extra charge.

Location:  Southern Alabama in Luverne, Alabama which is in Crenshaw County and is located near Pike County and Bullock County. Our land is surrounded by beautiful Pine Trees, hardwoods, and many green fields.

Offering:  Alabama Whitetail Deer Hunts - Your time with us will include a three or four day guided hunt for some of Alabama’s largest Whitetail Deer. Your transportation to and from hunting stands will be provided, however, our guests are welcome to bring their own recreational vehicle. You have the option to wooded or field hunts or using one of our shooting houses or open stands. Your guide will be helpful, courteous, and will assist you in two hunts per day.

There is No Additional Fee to HUNT HOGS!  ($80 Cleaning fee)

Accommodations:  Our hunters will stay in our spacious cabin which includes a large bunk area with a total of ten beds and a large bath, T.V. with satellite, central heating and air condition.  Southern cooked meals are included as well. Alabama Trophy Whitetails - Black Belt Region

Location:  South-eastern Alabama in the Black Belt Region, renown for Trophy Deer Hunts.  Our hunts take place in Butler and Crenshaw Counties. 

Offering:  Whitetail Deer Hunts - We have have several trophy manage tracts of land consisting of pine plantation and hardwood creek bottoms surrounded by agriculture fields to help grow those big racks.  The Alabama's Black Belt has been well known for it high deer density and trophy bucks.  For a long time our goal is to provide good opportunity to come see what the black belt hunting is about at a very reasonable price!  On our 3 day hunts for $600 dollars, we will provide transportation to and from the field and game handling.  You will be allowed 2 bucks 6pt or bigger with a 13 in. spread or greater (ear width or wider) and 1 doe with a six person maximum so book your hunts early.

Accommodations:  Lodging can be provided in our rustic 3 bedroom 2 bath house located on the hunting property. The house is fully furnished with all the modern amenities of home including satellite TV.  The house is set up to sleep 6 people. The cost is $25 per person per night for lodging.  If you wish to have  meals along with your lodging the cost is $50 per person per day. The meals include a continental breakfast before your hunt, coldcut sandwiches for lunch and a full dinner at the end of the evening hunt.

Alabama Hunting:  

With an estimated population of over 1.5 million whitetail deer, the state of Alabama has a generous hunting season. The general gun deer season is 73 days long and archery season extends over a 109-day period. In addition to the 1 buck per day bag limit during gun season, one additional unantlered deer may be taken during the Hunter's Choice season.  One buck or unantlered deer may taken daily by archery hunters and one buck and/or one unantlered deer may be taken daily by muzzleloader during the special 17 day muzzleloader season.  Landowners that participate in the Deer Management Assistance Program are issued unantlered deer tags that may be filled at anytime during the season. Alabama has also become one of the nation's premier states for hunting the Eastern wild turkey, with ever increasing numbers, the opportunity to harvest a trophy bird is better than ever during the 42 day season.
