Illinois Ohio Valley Trophy Hunts - It's all about the big bucks for us! We are located in the southern tip of Illinois in Pope County. The land if fertile Ohio River Bottoms and is excellent habitat and nutrition for growing outstanding Whitetail Deer.
The fertile soil is good for the deer, but it also assist us in maintaining attractive food plots, which keep the deer around! We have 11000 acres of private hunting ground that is a virtual sanctuary for the reclusive monster bucks. Our food plots are a select mixture designed to entice deer population and grow big racks!
We have well over 20 trail cams in the woods to monitor our bucks - how big they are, where they are, when they are, and where they are going! We know how old the deer are and this information is helpful for our Trophy Management Program as well. Bucks need to be a minimum of 3.5 years old and 130" gross P&Y score. Our property has produced whitetail deer up to 209" and a few even bigger!

Many of our hunters return year after year to hunt and that's our goal. For you to have excellent shot opportunity and have a great hunt so you will come back for years to come!
We work hard year round to give you the best possible opportunity that we can in the wild to get that Pope and Young or Boone and Crockett Buck. We have implemented a year round food plot system with the new addition of our bull dozer to give you outstanding opportunities at trophy animals. We plant Clover, Alfalfa, Chicory, and other high protein legumes to provide for those super racks. We also plant Corn, Milo, and Sudan as well as wheat and beats to get the herd through the rough winters and give you late season hunters the opportunities at the giants coming in to feed. With the addition of the Bull Dozer we now have quite foot paths back in the secret areas of thickets where we have small food plots and stands set up for bow hunters to have the 20 yard shots.

Lodging, meals, transportation, and professional guides are included with all our fully guided hunts. In 2007 we built a Brand New Lodge the Eagles Nest located about 1/2 mile from the Ohio River. We still have our main Lodge in Eddyville, Illinois that accommodates our larger group or hunting parties and has the pool table and all the amenities. Kitchen, Grill, Shooting Range, Camp Fire, Maps, Big Screen and Dish Network.
