Jamie and Juanita Byrne are second generation professional Montana Outfitters. They have two camps operating in central and southeast Montana. In addition to exclusive rights on several private ranches, they also are the ONLY outfitter with access to over 60,000 acres of national forest lands.
Year after year, our hunters have enjoyed tremendous success in their big game hunts! Our rifle hunters have had better than 95% harvest rate on Antelope and Deer! When you plan a western big game hunting trip, you want a team on your side with the property access, the experience and the long record of success that J & J Guide Service can provide.

Hunting with J and J Guide Service you can expect personal service and an opportunity at quality big game animals. We can provide this because we limit the number of hunters to 4 or 5 per camp.
Hunters of all ages and fitness levels have enjoyed success with J and J Guide Service, however the more fit you are, the more you will enjoy your hunt and improve your chances of success. We take care of everything except your own personal gear, your weapon and your hunting license. Leave the rest to us!
Our home base is Mill Iron Camp. It is locate 20 miles SE of Ekalaka Montana. Between our private ranch leases and exclusive permits in the Custer National Forest, we have over 110,000 acres to hunt! This beautiful area is home to abundant wildlife including Antelope, Mule Deer, Whitetail and Elk.
The hunting lodge is a cordwood cabin with propane heat and bathroom. We also have guest rooms in our home for families. Delicious and healthy breakfast and dinners are served in the dining room and we eat lunches out in the field.
