Where We Fish: Mooshead Lake Region; Maine North Woods. Spencer Pond Camps are the only cabins on the Pond and we are fourteen miles from our closest neighbors. Hidden deep in the woods and nestled at the foot of Little Spencer Mountain.
Maine Fishing Offered: Brook Trout in pond. Nearby Roach River for Salmon, and Moosehead Lake for wild eastern brook trout, lake trout, blue back trout, landlocked salmon and smallmouth bass. Free canoe provided with each cabin. The remoteness of our setting will provide guests with an almost private fishing experience. Spencer Pond has native brook trout and yellow perch. Other remote ponds rivers and streams in the area such as the West Branch of the Pleasant River, Prong, Big Lyford, First and Second West Branch Ponds, and Kidney, Ragged, and Spencer Streams offer bass and brook trout fishing. Fishing for landlocked salmon and lake trout (togue) is available nearby in the bigger lakes such as Moosehead and First Roach. The nearby fabled Roach River offers catch and release fly fishing for salmon and brook trout. On the west side of Moosehead lie the East and West Branches of the Kennebec and Moose Rivers for more salmon, brook trout and bass fishing. The West Branch of the Penobscot River is within a short driving distance from the Camps and is one of the historic brook trout and salmon waters in the area.
Boat - Lodging: We offer fully furnished housekeeping cabins that come with a free canoe. Motor boats under 10 hp are available to rent.

Where We Fish: Highlands Region of Maine: Moosehead Lake, Mount Katahdin and the waters in between.
Maine Fishing Offered: Freshwater fishing charters: fly fishing, trolling, bass fishing, ice fishing, striper fishing. We specialize in fly fishing charters for wild brook trout in the remote ponds of the Moosehead Lake and Mt. Katahdin region. We can fish for bigger trout or fish a pond with so many brook trout you can catch as many fish in a single cast as flies you can fish comfortably. We have boats stored on several ponds in the area or can launch canoes in other ponds as well. We also do a lot of fly fishing on the West Branch of the Penobscot for landlocked Atlantic salmon.
Boat - Lodging: In the remote ponds, we fish from small aluminum boats or canoes. Trolling charters or waters with a boat launch we'll fish from our 16' Tracker Super Guide.

Ours are the only cabins on sparkling, spring-fed "Nahmakanta", often called Maine's most beautiful lake, and an excellent salmon and lake trout fishery. We are surrounded by an enormous roadless preserve with maintained hiking trails to a dozen backcountry lakes with brookies up to 4 pounds!
Boat - Lodging: Clean, comfortable and newly restored waterfront guests cabins and Historic 19th century main lodge. Our camp-yard is situated between two trout streams in an idyllic setting of tall shade trees, spacious green lawns, and wildflowers. From the screened porch of their cabin, guests enjoy a spectacular wilderness panorama as far as the eye can see. Except for our cabins and lodge, the Nahmakanta shoreline is entirely wild, edged with enormous granite boulders and beautiful natural sand beaches.

Boat - Lodging: We provide modern housekeeping camps for your stay which is about 1 mile from the river, these have complete kitchens we do not serve meals at the camps. We provide canoes, paddles and life jackets for both guided and unguided guest's. We use old town tripper canoes and square stern grand laker rib and plank canoes with out board motors. On overnight canoe camping and fishing trips we also provide tents and some camping gear and meals.

Where We Fish: Maine Highlands, 50 miles north of Bangor - 35 miles east of Moosehead Lake.
Maine Fishing Offered: Trolling for Lake Trout, Salmon. Flyfishing for native Brook trout and Landlocked Salmon, Rivers for Smallmouth Bass, Ice Fishing for Trout, Salmon and Lake Trout. Remotes for Wild Brook Trout and rare Blueback Char, Trout and Landlocked Salmon. We do an incredible fly-in for Wild Brook Trout and very rare Blueback Char. Fly Fish the deadwaters in the evening for Brookies up to 18". This is a tent camp for the hardy!! We hold the current state record for Sunapee Trout and have a Blueback that qualified for Maine's "One that didn't get away club."
Boat - Lodging: Trips out of the lodge are done from our main lodge and meals are provided with all trips. We have two cabins and can accommodate up to 18 people. We use all small boats and motors or canoes.
