Alberta River Valley Lodge - providing excellent big game hunting near the
town of Wainwright, Alberta, approximately 3 hours southeast of Edmonton,
Alberta. One of our main attractions is exclusive access to over 70
quarter sections of (deeded) private property for our whitetail deer, mule
deer, moose, bear and waterfowl hunts. Limited hunting pressure, a good
food source, plenty of cover and exclusive access are all keys to a
quality hunt! Our lodge has five bedrooms, two full baths, a large game
room to sit and relax next to the fire place, a TV for watching hunting
movies and others of your choice and a wonderful kitchen for the chef. You
will enjoy all the comforts of home during your hunt. |

Alberta Duck and Goose Hunting
Canada's, Snow's and White fronted geese are plentiful here during
the fall migration. This area of Alberta is also the main resting
ground for a large variety of ducks. Aside from abundant waterfowl,
there is also a thriving population of Hungarian partridge, Ruffed
grouse and Sharptails.
Our season begins in early September and ends in late October. The
weather can vary somewhat during this time of year, but as a general
rule, the days are mild with the evenings cooling off, sometimes
freezing. |
