Average rainbow our clients caught in 2008 was 21.4 pounds. We catch these fish consistently and will get you onto them. In 2008 all but two clients caught a rainbow over 20 pounds while fishing with us. This is an unprecedented trophy fishery, and we know how to fish it. We also offer fully guided trips for walleye and Northern pike on Lake Diefenbaker.

Where We Fish: Lac La Ronge Provincial Park is located approximately 10 hours from the Saskatchewan border. Fly-in (or boat in) remote Canadian Fishing Get-a-way!

Our remote cabins are accessible from Athabasca Marina of La Ronge where we will meet you to transport you over to the cabins by boat. This beautiful 1-hour boat ride will thrill you with the vastness of this amazing 550 square mile lake dotted with over 1200 islands. A true North American adventure is awaiting you at Pickerel Bay Cabins!

NEW CHARTER SERVICE: The new charter will take you across Lac La Ronge from Pickerel Bay for a 1-hour boat trip to arrive at some of the best Pike fishing on the lake.

Boat - Lodging: All log cabins have full electric, wood, or gas stoves and wood fireplaces. Hot water facilities, including showers are centrally located. There is also a central cookout area, so plan a barbeque or fish fry during your stay. It's a tranquil, beautiful setting, unspoiled as nature intended. We keep our camp small, allowing no more than 20 people per week during the busy June season. Our area of the lake produces more consistent big walleye than any other body of water in Saskatchewan!
