Come hunt the Pee Dee Region of South Carolina and hunt one of the longest seasons in North America.  We have over 13,000 acres of private land that has been trophy managed for well over 10 years.  Hunting areas easily accessible from Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Florence and Columbia, South Carolina.  We cater to archery and gun hunters, and also youth and family hunts. 
 

Rick Grubbs, being a third generation professional hunting guide, was raised in the world of hunting, game & property management and understands the vital importance of providing excellent customer satisfaction for his hunting clientele.   Rick says, "I'll put our repeat customer percentage up against anyone in the Nation!  We strive for quality not quantity as we only take 5 guests at a time for deer, 4 for wild hogs and 2 for turkeys, to ensure quality game to be available to each and every guest that hunts with us. Our hunting property consists of corn, peanuts, and soybean fields, hardwood bottoms, pine thickets and transition areas. We also provide the game with food plots and because of the number of deer we have, we are able to legally feed them as well."

While only taking 5 hunters at a time, we offer guests the opportunity to see and hunt game in their normal feeding, breeding and moving habits as we keep the hunting pressure to a bare minimum. South Carolina Turkey Hunts

We hunt only 2 hunters at a time to ensure that each person will have a great opportunity to hunt birds that have not been pressured. We only allow mature toms to be taken with at least an 8” beard or better.

There are people who hunt turkeys and there are turkey hunters. We at WHS, LLC are turkey hunters! We so enjoy the anticipation of working a bird in for one of our guests and probably get a little too excited when one is taken! Like I said, it is our passion!

We can hunt both morning and afternoon during the Turkey season (April 1st to May 1st) as there is no cut off time for our turkey hunts.

SC Hog - Wild Boar Hunting

Recent regulation changes now permit NIGHT HOG HUNTS during the summer months!  For the first time ever, in 2011, SC will allow hunting wild hogs at night with special lights!  Wild Hogs are nocturnal creatures and move freely at night, so the hunting will be incredible! 

We have maintained a 100% success rate on our hog hunts in the past, so we are really looking forward to continuing that success next summer!  (May 15 - Aug 1) Hunts include comfortable lodging, with NO LIMIT and NO TROPHY FEES on your hogs!

Waccamaw Hunting Lodge, SC

Our clean, comfortable hunting lodge sleeps 5 guests and features a huge living room, dining room, 2 bathrooms, full service kitchen, heat/AC, Satellite TV. 

We provide all meals, lodging, transportation to and from the field, high quality stands.  Hunting licenses are available on site!  Transportation from the airport can be arranged for a small fee.  Remember to bring your own cooler to transport your trophy home!
