Location: We are based in Frankfort,
South Africa near Johannesburg, but offer hunting all over Southern
Africa.
Offering: Our hunting area ranges
from fast open grassland ideal for springbuck, blesbok, black
wildebeest to bushvelt area with kudu, njala and impala. We
offer some of the best wing shooting available in Southern Africa.
Best hunting season for pigeon is from March to June. Dove hunting
can be done throughout the year. On dove and pigeon hunts you can
expect to shoot between 300 and 1500 shells per day. Game bird
season is from 1st of May to 31st of August. South Africa offers a
large number of game birds: guinea-fowl, fran colin, Egyptian
goose, spur wing goose, and many more.
Accommodations: On your arrival at
the airport you will be met by Reinier or one of the Professional
Hunters in the team. You will be accompanied to the fire-arm
department and assisted to get your import permit. From there,
travel to the hunting area. If good light permits, rifles will be
set, ready for your first hunting day. On completion of the safari
you will be taken to the airport. Your stay will be in thatched roof
chalets. Warm running water and a warm bed will be waiting for
you on your everyday arrival at the lodge. Meals are something to
talk about while having a drink at a camp fire. Weather is not
predictable, but our rain season starts September and normally ends
March. Spring and summer has mild to very warm days and mild
evenings. April to August are our autumn and winter months. You can
expect cool to moderate days with very cold evenings and mornings.
