Together with our Management Team and
experienced Professional Guides, we operate
Trophy Hunters Alberta Inc. ("THA"), providing big game
outfitting and guiding services for non-residents of Alberta. Each member
of our 'field team' has an official Alberta "Guide's Designation" and our
company is an active member of the Alberta Professional Outfitters Society
("APOS"), as well as numerous other local and international hunting
organizations. We are the predominant outfitter in Alberta, know what we
are doing and get results! Our low prices offer the best value in Alberta.
As Alberta's largest outfitter, we have the allocations, experience and
expertise to provide you with a professionally run big game hunt,
customized to your specific aspirations and expectations. We have both
archery and rifle allocations in some of Alberta's best big game
territories. While we cannot guarantee a 'kill', we can guarantee a solid
effort with qualified guides and a memorable outdoor experience. Of our
563 allocations, 57 are for moose, 48 are for elk, 167 are for whitetail,
276 are for mule deer and 15 are for bear. 125 of our allocations are for
archery hunts.
Last year was another successful big game hunting season, with our rifle
primary mule deer hunters achieving 100% harvest success! With numerous
mule deer scoring over the 180 class mark, other highlights include a
Western Canadian bull moose with just under a 50” spread, a consistently
high kill ratio for Elk archery, and an overall average score for
Mule Deer of 160 class! Also,
Spring Black Bear hunting is now available.

Alberta Trophy Mule Deer Hunting
Many of our southern and southwestern Alberta mule deer
hunters routinely report seeing over 100 mule deer in a single day.
Hunters should expect to see 140 class mule deer and hopefully some
scoring 165 class or better.
In 2000, 2001 and 2003, our hunters had 100% hunt success when mule
deer was their primary species. In 2004 we had 36 mule deer hunters
harvest 36 mule deer with the average being 160+ class! Since the
inception of the mule deer draw system, 6 years ago, we have seen an
80% drop in the number of mule deer hunters and an increasing number
of large mule deer surviving the hunting season, propagating their
incredible genetic characteristics. These two factors make Alberta
arguably the world's best area for hunting trophy mule deer.
We provide free wolf & coyote hunting to all of our mule deer
hunters. The odds of seeing a wolf are very low, however, coyotes
are plentiful and generally larger than typically seen elsewhere

Alberta Trophy
Whitetail Deer Hunting
We are proud of our ongoing success with our whitetail
hunting guests. Years of experience, combined with many excellent
Wildlife Management Units (WMUs) allow us to customize each hunt to
the specific requirements of our individual hunters to maximize the
odds for favorable results.
We can provide a whitetail hunt in the mountains, the foothills, the
prairies and everything in between. We hunt bush, woodlots, open
country, river bottoms, coulees, draws, grain fields, etc.
We employ the best guides available. The #1, #2 and #4
indoor/outdoor (3-D) compound archery shooters in Alberta work for
us. Also, the #1 ranked Alberta shooter for recurve bows works for
THA. With such quality guides, it is easy to understand how THA gets
the job done.
We provide free wolf & coyote hunting to all of our whitetail
hunters and, although the odds of seeing a wolf are very low,
coyotes are plentiful and generally larger than typically seen
elsewhere.

Alberta Trophy Elk Hunting
Trophy Hunters Alberta is well known for
our ongoing hunt elk successes. We currently have 48 elk
allocations. Hunt Alberta for elk on the eastern slopes of the
Canadian Rockies and in the rolling foothill regions south, west and
northwest of Calgary.
During our 1997 elk archery season we achieved 100 per cent kill
success, including the massive bull pictured above. Since this
spectacular year, we have maintained a very high kill percentage. We
have the territory and the expertise.
HUNTING OPTIONS: We offer both archery and rifle hunts. Archery
hunts start in September when the bulls are usually in rut, and run
through to the end of October before the rifle season opens.
Rifle hunts take place both during the September and early October
rut, as well as during the last week of October and throughout
November. Our rifle elk hunts are premier hunts and are always in
high demand.
If you are interested in one of these hunts, please book early to
avoid disappointment.

Alberta Trophy Moose
Hunting
THA is renowned for
its moose hunting successes in Alberta. Trophy Hunters Alberta has
57 moose allocations offering both archery and rifle hunting
experiences. Hunt Alberta for moose where our opportunity rate is
usually between 85 to 95% range. The kill rate is generally 75% or
greater. Hunt moose from late September to the end of the season
(November 30). Late September to mid-October is referred to as the
rut hunts or the calling season. Hunts during
this period offer very reliable results as the bulls are susceptible
to calls and come to the hunters.
The majority
of our hunts occur in November after the rut, late season hunts.
These hunts continually produce successful hunts. With the onset of
colder weather, the bulls are more mobile and their feeding habits
are very predictable. The moose feed for longer periods of time on
the ever-present red willows during the early mornings and in the
late afternoons. Moose are easier to spot and stalk
