Ute Creek Outfitters was founded in 1979 with the goal of providing the finest possible big game hunting trips in some of North America's most beautiful country! We hunt Elk, Mule Deer, Black Bear, Pronghorn Antelope, Cougar and Turkey in unit 55 in New Mexico.
Our Trophy Elk and Mule Deer hunts take place on the Rio Costilla Park Ranch, located in the northern part of NM and covering over 82,000 acres of varying terrain. Hunt everything from river bottoms to pristine mountain landscape. Game Management Unit 55 is renown for incredible Mule Deer and Elk hunting - some of the finest in North America!

The bulls in GMU 55 will score from 300 to 340 B&C points, with a few 400" spotted on the ranch. Those big bulls are very elusive!
These Mule Deer are thrilling to hunt and we use a variety of methods to hunt. Typically spot and stalk is the most successful method, so be prepared to cover some ground. Big bucks score from 135" - 180" but larger deer have been seen!
Hunt over 75,000 acres of private ranch land in GMUs 34-51-55. We've had a near 100% Success rate for years on these exceptional hunts!
