Guide Mike says, “In the meantime enjoy a front country hunt on approximately 120 acres that butts up to the Los Padres National Forest in Tepesquet. These hunts are available during the week in September. Contact me to arrange a mutually agreed upon date.” Two night two day camping hunt price $700. The A zone has a 22% success rate counting private and public land. I’m happy to share that my personal success rate over the years averages out to 50%. I’ve been hunting this area for close to three decades. I’ll walk every step of the way with you. You can put venison on the BBQ too.

I didn’t like poison oak, noises that go bump in the night (or early morning), and not getting anything. However, i know these are all part of the package and one day I’m going to get something where Mike took me!
RYAN: We spent all day walking and checking likely deer spots. Come evening, Mike walked me up on a nice forked horn near a water hole. I had plenty of time to get the rifle up and be comfortable. I only fired one shot in two days, and nailed my first buck!
